During the course of playing a scenario you can collect Items from Locations and take them with you. When you collect an item in the environment window by dragging it to the collection box, it will appear in this collections tab, and be accessible from all other Locations.
Students can interact with environments by inspecting and collecting items. This important feature helps to engage students as they work their way through a scenario or case study. By collecting items, students are able to learn more about the subject under investigation. |

For example, during a virtual field trip a student may have the possibility of collecting various samples (blood, water, soil, etc.). Once returning back from the field the student may go to a virtual laboratory. If the student did not collect a blood sample then the testing methods are not available to them. This is the power of the prerequisite functions.
Making the choice of what items to collect (or not) creates a fun engaging interactive education environment where students can explore real-life situations ... increasing their learning curve so that they achieve! |
